A 2017 close-up published by TMZ clearly shows the small black cross beneath Justin Bieber’s left eye. The outlet reported that Bieber had highlighted the tattoo in a close-up image.

The design dates to 2016. Tattoo artist Jonathan Valena, known as JonBoy, told GQ that Bieber asked for a tiny cross near the corner of his eye; The Cut also identifies its placement as below his left eye.
