A moon below the ear
Ariana Grande revealed a small crescent moon tattoo on Instagram in April 2015. It sits on the left side of her neck, just below her ear. A later close photograph shows the open black outline, while a fragrance portrait shows how little space it occupies against her ear and neck.
The visible design is a single crescent. Grande's original reveal used a moon emoji, but it did not explain what the tattoo means. The try-on artwork follows the complete visible outline and keeps the skin inside the crescent transparent.
