Zayn Malik’s lightsaber tattoo lights up under UV

A lightsaber on one finger

In July 2016, tattoo artist JonBoy shared two views of the lightsaber he inked along the inside of Zayn Malik’s right middle finger. In ordinary light, the blade is a narrow outline with a short, ribbed handle at its base. Under UV light, the blade lights up blue. JonBoy’s original post · TIME’s coverage · Placement and artist

Try it on

The try-on follows the ordinary-light outline. Place the blade along the finger with the tip pointing toward the nail and the small hilt toward the base.
